Portions provides curated recipes and meal-planning tools for home cooking. All recipes are gathered and curated from publicly available sources, such as social media platforms, blogs, and food publications.

Portions allows users to discover recipes, select recipes based on their preferences, adjust serving sizes, and generate a consolidated list of ingredients based on their selected recipes.

2.1. No Sales or E-Commerce Services

Portions is not an online store and does not sell food, ingredients, or other products. Portions does not process purchases, payments, or orders.

Any ingredient lists generated by Portions are provided as a planning and organizational tool for users' personal grocery shopping. Portions does not guarantee the availability, pricing, quality, or suitability of any ingredient at a particular store or retailer.

3. Intellectual Property

We do not claim ownership over recipes or other content sourced from third-party publishers. We curate and provide attribution where possible.

If you believe any content on our site infringes on your intellectual property rights, please contact us.

Portions branding, original content, software, and site design remain our intellectual property.

4. Recipe and Ingredient Information

Recipes and ingredient information on Portions are provided for informational and planning purposes only.

While we make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information, we do not guarantee that recipes, ingredient quantities, nutritional information, preparation times, or other content are complete, accurate, or suitable for every user.

Users are responsible for determining whether ingredients are appropriate for their individual dietary requirements, allergies, or other circumstances. Portions does not guarantee that recipes are free from allergens or suitable for any particular dietary need.

5. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services such as Supabase (for authentication), Google Cloud, Sanity, Vercel, Google Analytics, and Algolia. Your use of these services may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

7. User Data and Privacy

We collect and process user data, including email addresses and login information, through Supabase and its Google Login integration. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your data.

8. Future Features and Subscriptions

We may introduce additional features or paid subscription services in the future. When applicable, additional terms and billing policies may apply.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Portions for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or accounts.
• Scrape, mine, or otherwise collect user data without consent.
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the operation or security of the Portions platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable laws, or otherwise misused the service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Portions is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or availability of our content or services, or that the platform will always operate without interruption or errors.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
